Deep red, bubbly and pleasant sweetness - the taste of summer. Frederiksdal RØD, sparkling wine fermented on cherries and pear – all grown locally in the island of Lolland.
Frederiksdal RØD is a blend of 60% Stevns Cherries and 40% Lucas pear.
After a first fermentation the wine goes into the process of the second fermentation to create the bubbles and the character of a sparkling wine. The second fermentation is in tank – called „méthode, charmat“. The result is a fresh sparkling demi-sec.
When the bottle is open, you have to serve it because of the bubbles.
